- History: Chiharu was born on March 29, 2007 in the city of Ashikaga in the Tochigi prefecture. She grew up as an only child in a western-style household until five years ago when her brother was born. Her father was the head of a well off company and here mother was off on trips to promote the family business. The two siblings were encouraged to partake in various activities, though Chiharu secretly grew fond of otome games. She hadn't ever played MMORPG games before, but when she heard about Sword Art Online, she decided to try it out.
- Personality: Chiharu often appears to be refined and simplistic and manner, but when you get to know her, she's loud and rambunctious. She's good at dealing with things that come her way, and tries to be rational, but her emotions can get in the way.
